Facilities:
  • Large communal "chill-out zone" with a big log fireplace, sofas, chairs and breakfast bars.  
  • Central fire pit to sit around and chat
  • Separate ladies and gents bathrooms.  Well equipped with toilets and hot water showers. The ladies are spoilt with a bath (wonderful for kids and to relax in at the end of a day of walking), the gents are spoilt with a shaving plug point.
  • Kitchen preparation space with sinks for washing up.
  • Dedicated recycling bins - please use them... we love our environment.
  • The Deck - situated away from the campsite area.  It is a great spot to relax at, create from and/or work from, the view is inspiring!

  • Braai Packs are for sale at $7 a pack
  • Pinnacles are available at a $1 for 2
  • 3 plate gas hob is available for hire at $5 a day (inc. gas)


We love our space, please read the following housekeeping points:
  1. Please be mindful of water usage... water is precious! Our water comes from a dam and is clean but should be boiled if used for cooking.
  2. Please refrain from picking, breaking and removing wood, flowers and fauna from the bush.  We love living in nature and treat the bush with respect.
  3. We have dogs in the area that love to snack on food that has been left out and rubbish that hasn't been disposed of properly.  Please keep your areas tidy and food stored away safely
  4. Please put your rubbish in designated bins and do not litter.
  5. It is home from home at Hidden Rocks and we love hosting guests.  We ask that you respect that it is also our home.
  6. It is also our pets home and therefore NO PETS ALLOWED.
  7. We believe that switching off from the world is important sometimes.  There is limited cell phone signal at the campsite, however there is 3G signal in some areas and there will soon be wi-fi available on The Deck at an additional cost.
